Hambledon is a rural village within the South Downs National Park. The historic village centre has been designated a Conservation Area. Hambledon is an active village with a strong sense of community.
- The Village Hall is at the heart of village life, providing the venue for numerous activities, social occasions, entertainment and vital services for the whole village, including a Doctors’ Surgery three mornings a week.
- There are a range of facilities for hire. The Main Hall has a complete kitchen, seating and tables for 100+. The adjacent Pavilion is newly refurbished and is a smaller hall with hot drink/snack facilities and seating for 70+. The Pavilion is particularly suitable for children’s birthday parties with its secure outside play area.
- These excellent facilities are available to clubs, societies, classes, individuals and commercial users.
- The Village Hall is a charity run entirely by volunteers and relies on the income from Hirers for its upkeep.
- The Hambledon Village Hall Management Committee constantly strive to maintain the Man Hall, Pavilion and grounds to a high standard and provide a safe, modern, clean and environmentally sound facility for the community.
